This is the view of Riomaggiore from our room's terrace. We climbed about 300 steps to get to the top of the hill where the house was located. The first time we reached the top we were exhausted, but it became easier every time we did it...plus the view was a big reward!
This is a shot we took after arriving in Monterosso. We hiked for two hours (approx. 9 kms) from Vernazza to here. The hike was exhilarating -- about 500 feet up, no handrail, narrow dirt paths, and spectacular views.
This is a shot of the coast that we took during one of our hikes from town to town.

Well, as I sit here in my cube with a specatcular view of...well, the next cube, I must say I am very jealous. These pictures are incredible! I am so happy that you are making the most of this trip - I can tell in your faces that you are having an amazing time. The ATL is DEFINITELY not the same without you - we drive by your old apartemnt sometimes and stare through the windows (the new renters don't seem to care for that too much). This is like an internet "novela". I log in every day to see what happens next! Those amazing pictures fill me with positive energy, it makes me realize how wonderful this world is. How many wonders!
