First of all...congratulations Ian! Well, I should say congratulations to Steve and Mary...truly a blessing. The only thing I can say is may the force be with you. The videos are great! I love them. Ian...you should definitely reconsider your career after this trip. Between the photos and videos you've become an excellent photo/videographer. I almost feel silly asking but was the last video, the one where Ian was experimenting with his inner Reporter, real? To be honest with you it really does look like you were experiencing some activity. What threw me off though were the people in the background so calmly pointing and talking amongst themselves while casually leaning against the railing...while you guys were being thrown off balance. Other than that...scary!
Okay...nevermind...now that I look at it again I realize that it was a very creative simulation. It's been a long day... I'm happy to see that you guys are having fun:)
Well, I have to say I that Bear would truly be proud at this moment - the quality of reporting in these videos is exceptional! I am lietrally sitting in my cube at work laughing my a$$ off! BTW: Did I mention that checking your blog has becaome part of my morning routine - I guess you can add Atlanta stalker to the list - although "the Friendly Lebanese Stalker" has a much scarier reputation. Great to hear you guys are still doing so well. We really miss you in the ATL - keep the video updates coming! Pat and Jon
Ahhhh, finally a documentary.....although your previous work in the "Let's Get It Started" Video, and the "Last Mimzy" were also equally fantstic, I couldn't help but laugh and think about how much I miss my PF Chang buddies after seeing "Ian at Vesuvius". Pat and I are counting down the days til we see you again. Hope you both are having an awesome time. Love you guys....Jon Guerrica
We are so happy to read the positive reviews of our video reporting. A bit disappointed that no one realized the camera woman also deserved some credit...particularly in the Vesuvius quake video. But, whatever...I'll have to star in the next one. V
